Amila had never been to the airport before so we took him to East London airport where he was given a tour and saw some big planes landing. At the airport we were met by Mr. Lundi Miti. Mr Miti is one of the big bosses that manage the day to day runnings at the airport but he was kind enough to put some time aside to show Amila how the airport works. He was taken through to where you would normally check your bags in and shown how a boarding pass is printed. Then he saw the scanner that scans all the hand luggage just before entering the flight gate. He was then taken to the control tower were he saw how a plane landed. This was all very special for Amila. After the tour we headed for lunch were we presented Amila with his dream cellphone! He was in love with it! He just couldn’t get enough of the camera and kept on taking pictures of everything!
